Words after silence

I'm so glad it's the end of Syawal. Welcome Zulkaedah! It's so tiring to attend those open houses. Pardon me, i love meeting my friends esp. if we haven't met in ages but to go from one end of Klang Valley to the other end and stuffing the tummy with lots of food week after week, day after day..it gets exhausting. I hope i don't see nasi himpit till Aidiladha. (but i can eat ketupat palas anytime cos i have not overdosed on it this Syawal, courtesy of mom who always gives out food to others sometimes even before we have seen/ touched the thing!) Anyway, there's still an invite this weekend. Mak sempuuuut! My son caught the open house bug and requested an open house firstly at mom's so that our house won't be messy; later on at home, so he can parade his toys for all to see! Mak tak larat la!!

What's for sure, i want to visit the floating bookstore aboard a ship this weekend. Sure perhaps there are many bibles or small babies' books but i don't care, Jib hasn't been on a ship since the last 5 years. For those interested, it is at the Star Cruises terminal in West Port, Klang. My aunt @ mom's twin is here, commemorating the end of Syawal. This is the first time she did not beraya with us since she reunited with mom many yrs back. Did we miss her on 1st Syawal? I don't know. J & I were busy having fever on the first day. Then we were busy catching up on my other half's side; new babies, old faces. We didn't have time to pose for Raya pictures but we hooked up a lot with Astro 1st-segala movies kami layan! Perhaps we're saving up for a more meaningful celebration of Aidiladha. It'll be great this year i think..Can't wait for Zulhijjah :)

Next week, cant wait for the Big Bad Wolf book warehouse sale. I'm giddy with excitement. It will be held at the MAEPS. The mega sale will be on from 7-16 Oct. The week after i'll jet off for a short trip to Jogja with dearest son and dearest buddy. Jogja's one of the places i wish to go before i die with Borobudur, Prambanan, Istana Kraton and Pantai Nyirorokidul (who remembers cerita hantu Suzzana dulu2?) all in the itinerary. The downside of this trip, i'll miss J's graduation ceremony :( Thank God he already took pictures in the hat and robe BUT darn, i just discovered he's got lice on his head! Mak stresssss... It's almost the end of the yr and my kid's finishing kindy! Gosh how did that happen?? Just now, the primary school called to reconfirm his class. Anak aku dah besar...sob sob!

Time...it just zooms past you!
In the 5 weeks i abandoned blogspot, My home pc went kaput and I still can't blog from ipad. Grrr! Jibril finished 22 days of fasting, with lots of drama, tears, patience and rewards. He followed Awie & Dhani to an art session with Mister Maker, i think his picture (more of his head) with Mr Maker was featured in The Star last Wednesday :D I moved downstairs at the office and i have a new boss. Maybe it's for the better. And yesterday i did something i should've done a few yrs ago. But i'm still the same me. I want new clothes and bags that i still don't have. I still need to lose gazillion kilos. My male colleague went on twice daily Herbalife diet and lost 12kg in 2 months! Should i emulate him? Remember i am the deluxe master of laziness and procrastination!

Praying always the remaining months of 2011 will be good and kind to me, pls. I hope whatever i wished for will materialize soon. Firstly, welcome October and Zulkaedah. Then comes sweet November and Zulhijjah..and December, Muharram..start of something new and better, perhaps ;)
