Isian jiwa edisi 9 Ogos
gOSH the head's spinning today. Must be due to lack of sleep these past few days.
This morning as i was tossing and turning trying to jumpstart my ass from the couch to be ready for work, i howled with laughter hearing (partly) the story Ustaz Hassan Din shared on tv3. Something about puasa. The story's more or less like this: A wife thought all the while her husband had been fasting cause he woke up for sahur and by the time, he reached home daily, he looked tired and all. One day she cooked something that he liked and he came back while the food was still hot; totally enticed. The wife went to perform her prayers and the greedy husband gobbled up a piece of the food while the wife wasn't around. Suddenly the wife heard noises and after praying, went to the kitchen to find the husband choking like mad. Alamak the still hot food was stuck! After maybe some hard knocks and downing water, only then the choke subsided!!! Hahaha nasib tak mati tercekik tak puasa LOL, the wife of course was furious till mengadu to the ustaz :D
Tu la the ustaz pesan... the thing about syaitan being chained in this holy mth is more of a symbolic saying. If truly there is no syaitan in this mth, there won't be any crime or dosa right? No bribery, no slander, nor cheating. Or worse no robbery or murder like the lady suffered in Ipoh. Kesian sgt2. May Allah forgive her sins and bless her soul and those guilty will be punished severely. Suka2 je some ppl nak senang cepat..tak nak kerja and usaha, sanggup rompak, bunuh org demi harta dunia. Nauzubillah :( Tu blm case gruesome murder in Ampang. How convenient is it to kill ppl these days..ever imagine what the victims' families would feel? Imagine if it were yours? What is happening to this world? I pray we will be hindered from these calamities.
The ustaz also touched on parents hellbent on training kids to fast. It is a good gesture but isn't it better if it applies to solat too? Disciplining kids to pray from young will encourage the kid not to miss prayers when older. Mendalam maksud dia. My boy makin lama, makin malas nk pray. Dibawa ke surau pun main je lebih. Note to self: must work on this. Makpaknya kenalah rajin solat tak tingggal kan... The ustaz said something along the lines of; if a person prays without miss, he will definitely fast (as the ustaz points out he has yet to meet anyone who prays but do not fast) but if a person fasts, it does not mean he does not miss his/her prayers.
And he also said that sometimes a person prays yet he's still doing something against the religion. Mengumpat/ memfitnah/ merasuah ke etc.. Then something is not right. Perhaps his prayer is not right and tidak diterima Allah. Sebab if seseorang tu bersolat lima waktu and all, insya Allah he will follow the other guidelines of Islamic life. Terasa kerdil and serba kekurangan diri ini.

irfan skang pn dah rajin solat.. but maghrib jela.. hihi.. takpe, still can b improved. mummynye pun blm penuh solat 5 waktu evryday.. insyaallah, sama2 kita improve ourselves.

tu la. bagusla bln ni dgr benda2 gini moga dpt iktibar can practice for whole life. jib dulu rajin gak. lately mls. tapi dok ask kitorang pray ke x!
Malaysia sekarang semakin dah tak selamat ke? Latest news smlm saya baca kes mayat pelancong France jumpe kat gua kt tioman. Suspek is owner homestay dia tinggal tu. Pelancong tu dah pg merata tempat selamat je, tibe malaysia kene bunuh plak. kes yg bunuh then kerat 15 kt Ampang tu buat saya teringat series The Sopranos. Cerita pasal mafia yg cover activity dgn legal business daging & sampah. Lepas bunuh org bw pg kedai daging kerat2 pakai mesin utk dispose the body. Tak sangka kt Malaysia dah mcmtu!
aku mmg setuju ngan ustaz tu...xyah susah2 paksa anak posa if solat dia kita tak jaga...sbb mmg ramai je posa penuh ramadhan n terawikh penuh..tp bulan lain lat lat lai..aku pun insan yg slalu..leka..so i too hope that i can improve..
Sebenarnya musuh paling utama kita ialah nafsu..percayalah,bila kita berjaya kwl dia,yg selebihnya ,insyaAllah blh...
Tapi syg ramai yg x tau,lg2 plk budaya kta bkn bdaya mencari ilmu,ditmbh tekanan hdp yg mendesak,pemimpin yg kacau- bilau,akibatnya...masyarakat n sistem jd rosak..
Jd tahniah to Akak..hrp2 ramai lg dkt luar sana yg msh lg sudi fikir2kan semua ni...

the murder cases in m'sia get more bizarre. the french tourist tu kesian kan..xtau apa story. ckp psl jual daging bunuh ke apa.. lg tragis kes arwah sosilawati and friends tu. dibakarnya terus. apa kesan pun xdak. di bln ramadan lak. sad. i hope the killers and accomplices dpt balasan setimpal. xpun aku alu2kan mana2 pembunuh gila torture n kill them. tau x derang ada hati ngadu polis dera them masa questioning siap bg food lambat ke apa. ingat hotel ke org nk layan mcm kings?
Sbb akk concern dgn semua yg jd dkt luar,x ramai yg suka tls mcm ni,ramai yg mls fikir,atau Fikir,tp senyap2 udahlah,asal hidup diorng aman,itu lg penting kot!

beb, u can always write & send the articles 2 get published. x yah drastic sgt nk jd journalist terus. once they've recognised your talent, nnt they'd offer u a column. kau dh la sgt well-read, mesti byk material.
jurusalem, iraq & the likes is one thing, but u can always start fr home. negara kite pon kucar kacir tho not chaotic phisically, wat's happening here of late proves that our own society is becoming sick.
& let's be more realistic, b4 we could correct wat's gone wrong out there, we hav no choice but 2 correct wat's wrong wit us first - own self, family, frens, our work environment, our society at large. how to approach bigger scale crisis if the crisis at our backyard pon we couldnt deal wit? we couls all start small, x gitu?

anyway, haritu saya ada nampak kawan fb saya pergi Masjid Al-Aqsa. Then i asked her how did she get to go there. Rupanya dia pergi Umrah then rombongan tu pi sana sekali ke something like that.Plus she said, pasport dia singapore (she's a singaporean) so takde isu sangat.
Btw, do u watch "don't tell my mom.." on history channel kot. Dia ni pergi afghanistan la, iraq, iran, jerusalam etc. Mmg best. Just like you wrote lah, kalau bagitau mak mesti mak tak bagi punya. :))
on the praying note, solat memang penting. Kena didik anak2 solat. If he prays, everything will be easier. Umar solat tapi still macam nak kena paksa2 juga. Ada satu buku kita baca, "mendidik anak agar terbiasa solat" ada cerita how to train our kids to solat.
Yang penting kita kena sabar dan kena konsisten. Kadang2 anak2 tidur, esp subuh kan, then kita kesian nak kejut bangun solat. Tapi kalau kejut bangun suruh pergi sekolah kita boleh pula paksa2. Itu buku tu tulis lah, tapi kena batang hidung i juga,
Marilah sama2 solat dan doa banyak2 supaya anak2 kita akan taat pada perintah Allah, dan terpelihara dari semua kegilaan dunia ni.

org singapore, indon mmg can visit jerusalem easily. i saw my ex primary school teacher easily posing there and some indon gal floating in the dead sea lg. kita takleh masuk israel BUT there are some ppl yg bjaya enter on the sake of going to al aqsa. hopefully someday i can jejak there. amin :) bab solat tu lah mak pak pun kena tunjuk good example n be strict. i have to improve myself first nampaknya.

i'm not trying to right any wrong. i just wanna see the world, meet people and share my stories; perhaps through my writings. apa2 yg i can help, i'll try and most of all offer my prayers. termasuk kpd umat Islam di negara sendiri. kalau ada time/resource, volunteer tlg apa yg patut. takkan nk hebah2 all the time? :P
See the world? jom lah drive pi Ko Lanta (google ler) cuti sekolah nanti ... hehehe
baru nak ask mana ko lanta.. i nak see the world but other half nk leisure. susah sikit nk spread wings. tunggu jib bsr sikitlah, leh jd bodyguard @ companion :P
