Don't wake me up when holidays are over!

Ever since school reopened after the two week break, Jib has been up to countless antics to avoid school. The first day he told me he had fever; ok his body was warm from the day before so i said fine, no school. He stayed with mom for the day but had the cheek to request pancake breakfast at McD in the morning. Reminded me many times the night before; "if i can't wake up, pls splash my face with water & i'll surely be up!" I did indulge him that morning and he seemed like the happiest kid in the world, fever or no fever. Oh kalau yg dihajat di hati, boleh pula bangun dan cergas! Bab to school banyak excuses. He even told his grandma that i don't have money so he can skip school and stay at home!!

The second day, i managed to push him to go to school. But he made me promise to fetch him early. "4.30 ok?" "That's too late.." "Well the usual is 6.30, you are lucky if i come at 4.30." We struck a deal but he reminded me again at his school gate, "Remember your promise." His dad picked him up at 4.30 ;)

The third day, he was crying after the bath that he had stomachache. When i asked was it because he was hungry/ cramps/ whatever, the response was incoherent. So i agreed to bring him to mamak for roti telur while grumbling both of us would be late. "Roti telur small sized only then.." was the hopeful reply. As if there is such a thing. Then i noticed his left eye was bit swollen n red; checked to see whether there was a stray eyelash in the eye (as is the usual case for me) but no. Must have been bitten by an ant or something while asleep. I refused to panic but he seemed ready to wail only to be met by indifference by me :P Well i cant afford to take EL each time he starts acting up weird or sick. Anyway roti telur he ate, and he seemed satiated and calm though he asked, "i thought i asked for a small roti telur?".

Tomorrow, i wonder what will he be up to? Sigh.. ini 1) lagi malas daripada penyakit malas aku nk jejak kantor. 2) baru cuti 2 minggu dah liat, what will it be like if he attends school in Singapore and cuti in June is the whole 30 days?! sure like badak melekat dlm lumpur!! 3) i must wake up early and prepare his breakfast, himself earlier to anticipate newer untested tricks and techniques. Cue: panggilan subuh memanggil, aku je super liat, byk setan!
